Useless classes...

I dunno is it that i'm becoming more critical or wat. But kinda feel that my MBA classes for this quarter are so useless!

I had "managing diversity" yesterday. A class that i thought will be interesting and useful. However, the main bulk of discussions were about how diversity is good in the company, how it will make a company more profitable(unrealistic theories) and how we should go about promoting it. I mean come on! you employ blacks, asian, and women just so you can have a diversify workforce? then u try to manage them and make them all work well together? it's impossible if they already hate it other from young.
I thought the class will be more on how to handle a group of people who are very different. but if the class is to promote equality, do it as a country! start from elementary school and not graduate school!

Then i had "competing with and within china" today. ok. i took it to fulfil my credit requirement, and china is up and up and up now. But the class is just full of data (outdated). and people present cases just from the case study. i can read them myself!!!! what's the pt! and somehow i just feel that the "theories" taught in class are American prospective. are they really really true in china?
